Location- Bull Run Regional Park (Civil War Trails)
This has been a busy and crazy few weeks and to make matters worse, my running partner, Alison was out of town. Although, I am so happy that she was able to go, she was missed and, there has been no Trail Confessional for awhile. So I was very happy to see her waiting at the trail head this morning, ready to run.
She can’t stand that I am mushy but, not only do I trust her beyond words, she also makes me a better person, helping me see things from a whole new perspective and pushes me to sort out what my priorities are.
So today’s question is…
Who is the person who is not just a friend but makes you a better human being?
In this incredibly fast and competitive world that we live in, what is your priority? Your passion?

I have to say that it’s my 3 kids who make me a better person. Without them, I’d be less patient, less giving, less out-going and just less.
What’s amazing is that I thought I was all those things before having them!
I’d love to have a friendships like you and Alison have; much harder to make good friends like that in your 40′s than it was back in high school…
I agree my kids make me so much better. I look back at who I was before them and kind of chuckle.. thought I was so tough..ha! Yes, Alison and I are so fortunate. I feel like I won the lottery for all of the amazing people in my life. Thank you for your comments Tamara.. I really appreciate.
