Product Review- Picky Bars

Let’s talk bars for a moment shall we?

I am not a “bar” fly. No, I don’t mean that kind of bar, I mean energy bars. There are two types of athletes in the world, those who like bars and those who don’t. I pretty much fall into the “don’t” category as I think most of them taste like cardboard, so when Picky Bar asked me to try out their bars I was very hesitant. I searched their website before accepting and found that they are made with “Real Food” and made by World Class Athletes Lauren Fleshman, Steph Rothstein and Jesse Thomas. So, naturally, I accepted and I am so glad that I did.

The bars have a have a 4:1 carb to protein ratio, 200 calories, 7g fat, 28g carbohydrates, 7g protein, and 2-3g of soluble fiber, all derived from a variety of all natural ingredients. They are gluten free and vegan and come in four flavors at a price of $2.30 each. Seriously, who cares about all of that (well many do)? They taste amazing!

This is my favorite flavor:

They recently added THIS, the Picky Club, where you get 18 fresh bars delivered every month (with free t-shirt!) for only $37.00 a month (10% savings)! Free Shipping anywhere in the United States. I am so IN!

I like Picky Bars so much that I came up with an insanely decadent, super scrumptious recipe right HERE.

I may not be a “bar fly” but I know one thing, these bars make me fly. ;)

My post would not be complete without a kooky, utterly ridiculous video showing my lovely “morning look” and how I start my day off right.

Picky Bar contacted me to review their products however, all of my opinions are my own. They were not guaranteed a positive post.

Have you tried Picky Bars?

Are you a “Bar Fly?”
